My piece, “Fruits of Bali” got in the Light Grey Art Lab’s latest show, Macro & Micro! The opening reception’s this friday, so anyone in the area ought to check it out. If you’re like me and unable to make it, you can still view all the work, available for purchasing as prints, on their online gallery. (I saw a few days ago and I am still blown away by all the talented artists in this group! Wow wow woww)

Portraits of Moroccans by Spanish artist José Tapiro y Baro (1830-1913)
Eyvind Earle (1916-2000.) Earle was a painter, illustrator, and author. He also worked in the animation industry at Disney during the 1950’s. Animations he worked on included “Peter Pan”, “Sleeping Beauty”, and “Lady and the Tramp.” What I love about his work is his whimsical shapes, the color choices, and the surreal feeling of his images. Wonderful stuff. To view more I’ve provided a link to his gallery in Wikipaintings where most of these are from. Enjoy!
