Everytime tho

Man this always happens when I get enthusiastic about sharing Green Lantern: The Animated Series or Madoka with people.

Both are series with a very sophisticated/clean underlying story structure that can get judged for being sillier than it actually is for the art style.

I’ll be on my dash and then there’s these same reoccurring people who watch one episode and write a dismissive post about how already underwhelmed or irritated they are with the character animation or what not? (out of all the things to be critical of though).

Then I’m like:

Only hoping they can give it a chance without being condescending about it.

Definitely teaches me more to stick with a series regardless of art style, and moreso how themes and characters are handled.
